Lackey Construction began with something that goes far beyond construction-it began with family.
For Ken, building has been apart of his life for as long as he can remember. His grandpa worked in construction, and growing up around them, he learned early that building isn't just about putting something together. It's about hard work, patience, craftsmanship, and taking pride in what you leave behind.
Those lessons stayed with him. For more than 11+years, Ken has worked in residential construction and custom home building, turning that family tradition into a passion of his own. Over the years, i watched him put his heart into his work and saw how much he genuinely loved building.
And I knew he was meant to build something of his own.
Sometimes, the hardest part of chasing a dream is simply taking the first step.
So I pushed him to take the leap.
I believed in him, believed in his experience, and believed that it was time to stop building someone else's dream and start building our own.
That leap became Lackey Construction.
Today, Ken is the craftsman behind the builds, bringing years of experience, knowledge, and passion to every project. I'm the wife behind the scenes, supporting the business, helping bring the vision together, keeping things moving and standing beside him through every step of the way.
We're building this company together, just like we're building our life together.
We're proud to carry on the construction tradition that was passed down to Ken through generations.
